It all started when I received a painting from my son during Mother’s Day last year. My son gifted me with a painting of a penguin from school. This came at the right time as I was thinking of a name of this centre which was being built.
Upon researching, I learnt that penguins are known to be very caring and loving towards their young ones. This resonates deeply with me. The name ‘Little Penguin’ was chosen to also help us remember our numerous trips to Philip Island which is home to one of the largest colonies of Little Penguin. Thus, Little Penguin Early Learning Centre was born!
As a nod to the Australia and our state, Victoria, our sand pit is in the shape of Australia and our bicycle track is inspired by the F1 track at Albert Park!
